Students who attend Bayside High school are required to be present in their classrooms before the time hits 7:20 A.M. The time span before that gives students time to prepare and begin their day, such as waking up and starting their daily routine.
The Morning Routine
The morning routine for a student should go smoothly, waking up as early as 5:30-6:00 A.M. in order to have enough time to get ready, and eat breakfast, unless they are served by the school cafeteria. Either way is completely beneficial for the student body. Depending on the student, every way of transportation can be different. Most students usually take the school bus to and from school, while others are able to drive their own cars. If that is not the case, they are dropped off by another person or simply walk to school if they are close enough. The school transportation ways are all simple ways to get to the correct destination, that way nobody has trouble arriving on time.
Now, that is how students are expected to begin their day, but nobody is perfect. Most students confirm they oversleep and begin to rush themselves in order to make it to school in time, giving them barely enough time to properly suit themselves in the way they desire to. This is most likely the realistic version of how students begin their day, as it is completely common. Not every student arrives with the best attitude either, most students still feeling drowsy and even irritated for other reasons. Not feeling the need to participate in what they are supposed to complete once their first block of the day has begun. It is only natural for students to respond in such a way.

The realistic routine of a Bayside student, as previously stated, would be pretty messy as their day begins. Panicking because the clock on their phones are passing the time by each second they blink and check. Making sure they do the hygienic task of brushing their teeth and washing their face, showering as well (If they shower in the morning). Gathering their needs and praying the bus hasn’t already swerved by their neighborhood. If not bus, they’re speeding down the sidewalk attempting to blend in with the late bus crowds.. Breakfast is always optional, but your stomach would be crying for something to dissolve as the morning passes by, why not chow down on the breakfast served in the Bayside cafeteria? Because breakfast causes students to be last to their first block, expecting a late pass once they hear the music fill their ears as they attempt to quickly head to class.
I was startled by my alarm waking me up. I’ve been using that same alarm since elementary, why does it still scare me? Alarms in general make me flinch so much, is this a condition?
Anyway… I get out of bed and get dressed just to head back to sleep until my bus arrives. I have to be careful when doing that, I was about to run late this morning when I woke up at 6:39… (My bus arrives at 6:52)
What’s the deal with the school system making us wake up this early anyway? No matter how early I sleep, my eyes still feel heavy and my mind is still in power off mode once it hits 6:00… I would be doomed if I had to wake up any earlier.
I have to deal with my brother too! No matter how much time I give him, he still is never prepared for when we are about to leave. It’s so insane! I gave him all the time in the world!!
Enough of that rant… He ticks me off the most, and he knows it for a fact! But I guess I have to deal with how he acts…..
I’m always hoping my outfits are presentable enough to walk out of the house with, and I am always praying there aren’t any malfunctions with my clothes.. Like tears or stains… I fear them the most.
As always, It was just me overthinking again. It shouldn’t matter how I look at school considering I don’t talk to many people except… maybe three. I only talk to one on a daily basis.
That doesn’t matter… On the way to school, I am just listening to music and hoping nobody sits beside me… even though they always do.
My first class is on the second floor… my nose always feels cold and dry rushing up the stairs as the music continues playing before the first bell is about to ring. Such a stress starter…
For the majority of my day, I am usually quiet unless I volunteer to answer a question. I try to stick by myself because I feel the most relieved when I am alone, so I choose to stay in my first class for lunch since it is most comfortable for me.
Other than that, I am really wishing for a nice sophomore year, I have already begun to take my grades more seriously and I am genuinely progressing a lot in my classes. I am not going to stop just yet, though..
